Une aire de repos sur l'autoroute, c'est comme une promesse d'amour éternel. On est là, dans la voiture, on a envie de pisser, on a soif, on a faim, on a envie de relâcher son attention, de se déplier du fauteuil… Alors on décide de s'arrêter à la prochaine aire. Et on sait qu'elle ne nous trahira pas, elle. Elle sera là, et elle nous le donnera, ce petit bonheur qui fait tout à ce moment là. On a une confiance aveugle en elle, on y place tous nos espoirs, et on la trouve, là où elle nous a dit qu'elle serait. Et elle nous accueille sans arrière pensée, sans faux plan, et elle nous laisse repartir au moment même où on l'a décidé. Une aire d'autoroute et un voyageur qui s'arrête, c'est un peu comme un couple éternel et parfait. Ils vont ensemble et sont faits l'un pour l'autre, et pourtant, ils existent individuellement et sont libres d'exister sans l'autre. Une aire d'autoroute, c'est un peu un temple des choses qui vont par deux. C'est à la fois pétrolifère et poétique. Un endroit où l'on s'arrête pour mieux continuer notre chemin. C'est beau une aire d'autoroute, quand même.
